Background

Originally from the UK, trained in fashion at St Martins School of Art (London), graduating in 1984. Two years later transferred to Milano and after working for a number of international fashion companies including Armani, Esprit and Blumarine; in 1998 began her own women’s wear collection based around the use of hand worked fabrics. This lead to a specialisation in textiles and in 2002 began to produce handmade cushions and wall panels using screen printing techniques and embroidery while also working as a design consultant for Sigerson Morrison an American accessories company.

Presently based in Groppallo, 1000 mts up in the hills around Piacenza – surrounded by nature and inspired by nature.

The work

A collection of handmade original pieces celebrating the beauty of colour, material and time. Time the most precious of resources which can so easily slip away if not captured by nimble fingers, needle and thread.
